Suspension steel, electric motors, hammers

Over 2 meters long spring steel bands are struck with a time delay by small motor-driven steel hammers. The long steel bands swing out wide, twitch, whip and ring against each other; they return to a fragile resting position, wriggling and trembling, until they are struck again. The result is an aggressively pulsating structure with strangely creature-like movements.
